Anodizing Process

EPi is the approved distributor of AD Chemicals’ complete anodizing line throughout the USA.

AD Cleaner 221 – Economical powder that is suitable for most anodizing processes.

AD Cleaner 219 – Powder product that works well on brushed and polished aluminum.

AD ANO Bright 3S – Brightening process for aluminum gives mirror shine.

This is a sample panel using AD ANO Bright 3S from AD Chemicals.

AD Addition AL28 – Desmutting additive added to your sodium hydroxide. Can produce an (E6) finish and the bath does not have to be dumped.

AD Hardcoat 93 – Is not a hardcoat additive. Potential anodizing @ 30°C (86°F), increased productivity, saves energy cost with lower voltage and less cooling. Slower dissolving of aluminum and lower sulphuric acid concentration.

AD ANO C200 ADII – Electro-coloring or bronze colors from champagne to black possible.

AD ANO Organic Black – Immersion coloring, very intense, heat and UV resistant.

AD Seal 265 R – Standard temperature seal additive that prevents smut formation.

AD ANO Fastseal Starter & Replenisher – Seals at 88°C (190°F) saving energy or increasing productivity by 30%. It is QUALANOD approved in EU.
